December 12, 2014 Prehearing Conference
On October 28th, 2014 the Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) Robert Mason called for a Prehearing Conference to be held on December 12, 2014 to discuss the status of this proceeding. He instructed all parties to meet and confer and to issue written statements by December 5, 2014.
As instructed by the ALJ the parties met and conferred via a telephone conference on November 20th, 2014 at 4:30pm. This call was attended by: PG&E counsel Mathew Fogelson, NOPOC counsel William Parkin, NOPOC members: Nancy Bensen, Carolyn Carney, Mariposa Kercheval, James Kerr, Ed Murrer, Marco Romanini, and community members: David Black, Britt Haselton, and Richard Ulrick.
Also as instructed by the ALJ, PG&E submitted a written statement and NOPOC submitted a written statement on December 5, 2014.
On December 12, 2014 at 10:40am the Prehearing Conference was cancelled by the ALJ and replaced by a teleconference. The cancellation was announced after NOPOC members had departed for San Francisco. Consequently NOPOC members who drove to the meeting audited the teleconference on a cell phone in the CPUC Cafeteria. The following are notes from the teleconference.
On December 12, 2014 at 2:00pm ALJ Robert Mason held an informal teleconference which was attended by PG&E counsel Mathew Fogelson, NOPOC counsel Allison Norton on behalf of William Parkin, CPUC representative Lisa Orsaba, NOPOC members: Dave Black, James Kerr, Elizabeth Romanini, Marco Romanini, Frederick Voegelin.
Since the formal Prehearing Conference was replaced with an informal teleconference there was no stenographer present and therefore no formal transcripts of the proceeding exist. NOPOC members who attended endeavored to take accurate notes by way of creating an account of the proceedings.
On December 12, 2014 at 3:00pm ALJ Robert Mason issued a ruling instructing PG&E to notify all parties of the results of the CAISO reassessment by January 16, 2015.
