October 28, 2014
To All Parties and Their Counsel of Record,

This e mail ruling notices a further Prehearing Conference (PHC) for December 12, 2014 @ 2:00 at the California Public Utilities Commission in order to discuss the status of this proceeding. Specifically, the parties are instructed to address the following questions in their PHC
statements:
  • Should this application for a permit to construct be dismissed, without prejudice, while PG&E and CAISO re-evaluate the need for the Santa Cruz 115-kV Reinforcement Project?
  • Will there be any negative impacts in the Santa Cruz area if the application for a permit to construct is dismissed, without prejudice?
  • If this application for a permit to construct is not dismissed, without prejudice, what is the timeline for when this matter should be put to the Commission for a vote?
The parties are instructed to meet and confer to discuss the above issues. PHC statements must be filed and served no later than December 5, 2014. The parties are encouraged, but not required, to file a joint PHC statement.
